Arts Administration Graduate Student Association presents
Ben Cameron: "Engaging the Next Generation of Leaders"
Co-sponsored by Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design, Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance and The Philadelphia Cultural Management Initiative, a program of the Philadelphia Center for Arts and Heritage, funded by The Pew Charitable Trusts and administered by The University of the Arts
The Arts Administration Graduate Student Association will present a free presentation by Ben Cameron on May 29, 2008 entitled "Engaging the Next Generation of Leaders." The arts and cultural sector is in the midst of a critical time of transition as a generation of leaders, many of whom shaped the cultural landscape as we know it today, are preparing to step down and a new generation is stepping forward to take the reins. Mr. Cameron will address the challenges and opportunities facing these emerging leaders.
A former theatre professional, frequent public speaker and arts activist, Ben Cameron is Program Director of the Arts at the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation in New York, NY. The lecture is free and open to the public, with a reception to follow.

Overview
The Arts Administration Graduate Association (AAGA) believes in the importance of arts and culture in society. We believe in preparing Arts Administration students to be successful leaders in the arts and culture industry so they may advance the professionalism of the Arts Administration field.
Membership in the AAGA is automatic for all current Arts Administration graduate students and is open to all current Drexel Graduate students. Arts Administration alumni may participate in our events, but are not voting members.
In addition to attending our events, we encourage all members to volunteer and assist in our special event planning, from our Speaker Event to our Annual Art Auction; there is something for everyone to do! Visit the links to learn more about the opportunities that exist for you!
