The WELL Clinic

Evidence-Based Treatment of Weight and Eating Disorders

The WELL Clinic at Drexel University Bridges the Research-Practice Gap in Treating Weight and Eating Disorders

Our Purpose and Mission

We provide high quality, evidence-based treatment for individuals struggling with eating and weight disorders in the Philadelphia area. Additionally, we provide training and consultation opportunities for clinicians to increase the availability of competent and effective treatment providers for treating eating and weight disorders.

Eating problems impact individuals on an emotional, physical, and cognitive level. Our team believes in treating the whole person, including the related difficulties that often result from having a difficult relationship with food and eating. We provide compassionate care and will help you to reach your long-term goals for full recovery while also building a healthier relationship with yourself.

Our outpatient program is designed to provide effective treatment for working towards goals for health, wellness, and recovery. We are dedicated to offering treatment provided by highly trained providers who treat eating and weight disorders. Evidence-based treatments are shown by research to be the best way of approaching the treatment of eating and weight disorders. For example, research tells us that behavior change is critical to recovering from an eating disorder as well as to meeting long-term weight goals. We believe in using the most updated scientific knowledge to inform our treatment choices.

Treatments Offered

The WELL Clinic offers a variety of outpatient clinical services, including:
