Rosemarie B. Greco
Co-Chair, Vision 2020
Vision 2020 co-chair Rosemarie B. Greco began her career in the Financial Services industry as a bank-branch secretary and ultimately rose to recognition as the highest ranking woman in Banking in the United States. She was the Chief Executive Officer and President of CoreStates Bank, N.A. and President of its parent corporation, CoreStates Financial Corp.
During her tenure, the bank, ranked as the eighteenth largest in the United States at the time, was recognized as one of America's most profitable and efficient banks. CoreStates was also heralded for its corporate philanthropy, service quality, and its culture of employee empowerment and diversity.
Greco is also recognized as a proven civic and community leader in both the city of Philadelphia and the state of Pennsylvania, having accepted multiple Mayoral and Gubernatorial appointments to Boards, Commissions and Special Task Forces. Most recently she served as the Senior Advisor to the Governor on Pennsylvania's Health Care Reform Policy.
During the past fifteen years, she has held Director, Trustee and Committee chair seats for a total of eight public and privately-held corporations in various business sectors, most recently Sunoco Inc., Exelon Corporation, and SEI Investments Company. Greco is currently a Director of Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) and chair of its Governance Committee, and a Director of PECO, a subsidiary of Exelon Corporation. Her current non-corporate positions include Overseer, University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and Co-Chair of Vision 2020.
Greco is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of St. Joseph's University and is the recipient of four Honorary Doctorates.
