Susan S. Belin of Waverly, Pennsylvania is the former President of the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute. She is also the FirstVice Chair of the board at Keystone College in Pennsylvania and on the Board of Directors of Vision 2020 Regional Ally Circle 200, a group of senior executive women in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
She has received numerous awards, including the McGowan Cornerstone Award for Leadership and Service, Keystone College Presidential Medallion, the Margaretta Belin Chamberlin Award from the Scranton Area Foundation, and the Presidential Medal from Marywood University. In recognition of her volunteer and professional accomplishments, Mrs. Belin was named a Distinguished Daughter of Pennsylvania, a select group of women recognized by the Governor since 1949, whose professional and volunteer accomplishments have reflected honor on the Commonwealth. She is a former president of that organization first joining in 1989. She was a founder of the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute where she was executive vice president and president, and she also served on several state-wide cancer boards.
Belin received her B.A. in History from Wheaton College and her M.B.A. from State University of New York, Binghamton. She has also completed graduate work in History at the University California, Berkeley.
