Janon Berry, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a licensed psychotherapist for Public Health Management Corporation, a nonprofit public health institute that provides outreach, health promotion, education, research planning, technical assistance and direct services to the Great Philadelphia region.
She is committed to volunteering for several organizations in her spare time, including serving as a Board Member, College and University Chair and Leaderships Corps member, representing the State of Pennsylvania for The American Association of University Women. Berry is also a member of the 100 Coalition of Black Women, where she has served on committees and The National Association of Negro Women. She is also a member of Gamma Phi Delta Business Sorority and Order of Eastern Star. Berry is preceptor for graduate students at Lincoln University and also a mentor for masters and doctoral level students at The University of Phoenix. She is also a mentor for adolescents. Previously, she served as the leader of the University of Phoenix Alumni Association. Berry believes that in order for us to progress we must help others.
She has a master’s degree in Human Services and Professional Counseling and a doctorate degree in Management and Organizational Leadership. Berry is a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as a Licensed Behavior Specialist Consultant in Pennsylvania. She is also a National Certified Counselor and is a Board Certified Human Services Practitioner.
