Warren serves as Associate Director of the Maine Women’s Lobby and the Maine Women’s Policy Center. Her responsibilities include planning and conducting membership outreach and communications, directing online communications, managing press work, and overseeing the organizations’ grassroots, education, and research operations.
Warren is the Mayor of Hallowell, Maine. She was elected Mayor in November 2009, after serving as a City Councilor for eight years, as well as City Council President for two years. Warren is also a member of the Hallowell Food Bank Board of Directors. Additionally, Warren is a board member for Emerge Maine, a campaign training program for democratic women.
Warren’s experience includes 11 years at Kennebec Valley Community College as the Math/Science Learning Specialist with the TRiO program, working to increase the success of first-generation and low-income students and students with disabilities.
Warren earned a Master of Science in Adult Education from the University of Southern Maine and a Master of Social Work in Organizational & Community Practice from the University of New England.
