On this website, you will find links to the variety of health, mental health, and disability services offered at or through Drexel University . These services are offered with the following expectations:

  • It is the responsibility of the student, as an adult, to seek out these services and follow through with any treatment plans or referrals that are recommended.
  • The University does not monitor students to ensure they attend scheduled health care or counseling appointments, take prescribed medications, or comply with treatment plans.
  • The University regards it students as adults with all of the attendant rights and responsibilities. It does not exercise or have and will not assume, responsibility or control over its students that parents have over their children.
  • The University handles all educational records and health information about its students in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. At times, this may prohibit or limit the University from disclosing information about a student to parents, spouses, significant others and friends. Students may sign written authorization forms by which others may obtain access to this information.

A more complete discussion of the role and responsibilities of the University and its students can be found here.
