Drexel to Open Doors to University City Neighbors Drexel will host the November 18 installment of the University City District`s "Go West! 3rd Thursdays" promotion.

Nesbitt Hall will be home to live music, refreshments, and special events from 5 to 8 p.m. Among the attractions:

  • The exhibition "Lamps and Lighted Sculptures" by artist Rod McCormick in the Design Arts Gallery;

  • A reception for acclaimed Dutch filmmaker Nico Crama (6 to 6:30 p.m.) in Chapman Court, followed by a screening of his film, "Animation in the Netherlands" (7 to 9 p.m.);

  • Music by Eight to the Bar and Drexel`s String Ensemble; and

    Architectural tours of the Main Building and the Centennial Bank Building, soon to be the Paul Peck Alumni Center, will also be available.
