University to Host NCAS Sports Gambling Symposium The University will host a National Consortium for Academic and Sports (NCAS) symposium on gambling and athletics on October 1. The symposium, Gambling: A Team Approach to Issues and Answers, is geared toward coaches, athletes, athletic directors and educational administrators. The symposium will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is free for NCAS members and $90 for non-members. Call 215/895-2496 for more information.
