MAD Dragon Records Nominated for Three Awards MAD Dragon Records has been nominated for three 2008 Independent Music Awards (IMAs). MAD Dragon was nominated twice in the “College Label of the Year” category for The Swimmers’ album, “Home,” and The Redwalls self-titled release. MAD Dragon also received a nomination for “Best Rock/Pop Song” for The Redwalls track, “Modern Diet.” This nomination is in a category that includes all independent music labels, not just college labels. MAD Dragon Records won “Best College Label” at the 2007 IMA for “Hoots & Hellmouth,” another self-titled release. Andrew Lipke’s album, “The Long Way Home,” also received a nomination in the category.
MAD Dragon Records is a student-staffed and faculty-administered record label housed in the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design.
