Paperless Billing System Begins in Fall

Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer Thomas Elzey announced that the Office of Student Accounts/Bursar will implement a paperless billing system beginning this fall. Under the new system, instead of receiving paper billing statements, students will be sent an email when a new statement is available. The email will link students to their Drexel One account, where they can view the latest eBill. The secure paperless billing system will allow students to access up to 12 months of billing history.

Under the new system, students can permit other payers—parents, guardians, employers—to be authorized users and give them access to the eBill 24 hours a day. Authorized users will be able to make online credit card payments on the student’s behalf. Students can designate more than one authorized user.

As with paper billing, it will remain a student’s responsibility to check for the latest eBill, and pay it on or before the due date. Students whose parents or guardians do not have access to email are responsible for printing a PDF of their bill and mailing it to their parents or guardians.
