The office of government and community relations hosted the University’s Eighth Annual Celebrate Health Fair at the Morton McMichael School in Mantua on June 3. Featured health education and screenings included vision testing, cardiovascular risk assessment, pulmonary function tests and stroke screenings. Also included were community resource tables, activities for children, music and dancing, free refreshments and prize drawings. More than 30 Drexel students volunteered for the event. The Fair was attended by approximately 300 children and adults and Philadelphia Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell.
