Beginning this fall, the College of Information Science and Technology (IST) will offer a bachelor of science degree in information technology (BSIT). The announcement was made by IST Dean David Fenske.

The new degree program will focus on the numerous technologies that are available for creating complex systems. Like IST’s bachelor’s program in information systems, the BSIT program is not about a particular technology, but is more intently focused on the use of technologies for solving complex problems in computing systems.
