Drexel’s Sixth Annual Research Day will be held at the Daskalakis Athletic Center on May 4. The event, sponsored by the Office of Research and Graduate Studies, is open to all students, faculty, residents, post-doctoral fellows and technicians.

Research Day highlights research, scholarly, creative and entrepreneurial activities in categories such as Advances in Clinical Practice, Basic and Applied Sciences, Emerging Technologies, Creative Arts and Design, Humanities, Innovations in Education and Outreach and Business Research Initiatives. Posters, live and video presentations and design, artistic and creative displays will be featured during the poster session from noon-4 p.m.

Fifteen cash prizes, including six undergraduate, six graduate, one post-doctoral fellow in basic research, one clinical resident/fellow and one research technician/technologist will be presented at an awards ceremony at 6 p.m. in the Main Building. Faculty research achievement awards, patent awards and synergy grants will also be announced at the ceremony.
