Drexel Undergraduate Applications Continue to Climb In the past four years, Drexel Admissions has seen a dramatic increase in the number of students applying to the University while the academic qualifications of the applicants continue to increase. Here are some statistics, as of July: o The number of full-time undergraduate applications climbed from 3,398 in 1995-1996 to more than 10,500 in 1999-2000, while the acceptance ratio dropped from 82 percent to 59 percent. o From 1996-1997 to 1999-2000, the average SAT score climbed from 1090 to 1158. o The number of states represented by students in the freshman class has increased from 26 to 36 between 1997-1998 and 1999-2000.
