Steinbright Career Development Center Presents 2006 Co-op Awards

Drexel’s Steinbright Career Development Center (SCDC) recognized outstanding co-op seniors, co-op employers and an advisor at the Annual Cooperative Education Awards ceremony on June 8. The Co-op Students of the year, who were nominated by their co-op employers and selected by the University’s General Alumni Association Board of Governors are: Kevin Kline, mechanical engineering; Andrew Franklin, information systems; Chelsea Powlus, psychology; Christina Fuller, nursing; Christine Waddington, nursing; David Kopanic, civil engineering; Jacob Paine, screenwriting and playwriting; Lindsey Hoffman, business administration; Mark Lemay, information systems; Michael Mast, business administration; and Nicholas Lamberson, business administration. The Co-op Employers of the Year, selected by the SCDC, are SAP America and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The Advisor of the Year, also selected by the SCDC, is Carolyn Riley, program manager for the health science
