New DUTV Programming to Air During Holiday Break
Drexel University Television (DUTV), the student-run television station of the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design, and the Kal and Lucille Rudman Institute for Entertainment Industry Studies announce new programming that will air during Drexel's holiday break.
The following original programs can be seen on DUTV throughout Philadelphia on Comcast Cable Channels 54 and 48 in Center City and South Philadelphia, Channel 62 in West Philadelphia and Channel 99 in Northeast Philadelphia, on Channel 33 on the Drexel campus and online at DUTV.org.Approved under the authority of Philip Terranova, Vice President for University Relations

Annual Holiday Party for Faculty and Staff This Weekend
President Papadakis and his wife Eliana will host the annual holiday party for faculty and staff this Sunday, December 16, 2007, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Great Court, Main Building (32nd and Chestnut Streets).
There will be a range of events including an international menu and outstanding entertainment. Everyone is encouraged to bring the whole family.

Complimentary Lunch in a Festive Holiday Atmosphere for Volunteer Wrappers
Members of the University community are invited to participate in toy-wrapping parties in the Great Court through Friday, December 14, 2007, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Complimentary lunch and beverages will be provided to the volunteers.
These wrapping parties are part of the 11th Annual Toy Drive, which benefits children in need, primarily in West and North Philadelphia.

Season's Greetings and Event Information from the DCAE
The Drexel Center for Academic Excellence (DCAE) would like to take this opportunity to wish the University community Happy Holidays, and to inform Drexel faculty of our January events:
Brown Bag Lunch: Teaching Outside the Silo on Wednesday, January 16, 2008, from noon to 2 p.m. in the DCAE Conference Room, Room 295 of the Korman Center (33rd Street between Market and Chestnut Streets). Beverages and desserts will be offered.
Faculty Workshop: Different Students/Different Approaches on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 from noon to 2 p.m., location TBA. A full lunch will be served.

To help transition into winter break and alleviate the stress of the big exams, CAB is sponsoring complimentary finals week back massages today, December 13, 2007, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Creese Student Center (32nd and Chestnut Streets).

Chi Upsilon Sigma Commemorates 10th Anniversary
The Omicron Chapter of Chi Upsilon Sigma National Latin Sorority will hold a formal dinner to commemorate the sorority's 10th anniversary on Saturday, January 5, 2008, from 6 to 11 p.m. in the Great Court of the Main Building (32nd and Chestnut Streets).
In the last 10 years, members of the Omicron Chapter have made a significant impact on the community through various student organizations such as the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Black Student Union and West Indian Student Establishment in addition to community service initiatives such as the Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity and Alternative Spring Break. This event will celebrate the contributions of those members as well as recognize University faculty/staff and student organizations that have helped the chapter remain a valuable member of the Drexel community.
This event is open to all students, faculty and staff. Tickets are $25 per person and $45 per couple.
