Dr. Rothwarf, a visiting professor at George Mason University, has held adjunct faculty appointments at Drexel University, University of North Carolina and Carnegie Mellon University. He extends a model of the universe as proposed by Allen Rothwarf, which is based on a degenerate Fermion fluid composed of polarizable particle-antiparticle pairs and leads to a Big Bang model. Here he extends this model to predict a decelerating expansion of the universe and to derive the Tully-Fisher law describing the flat rotation curves of spiral galaxies.
