Bon Voyage Senior Send-off This Weekend
The Traditions Program, a student-led organization, along with the Annual Fund Office will host the inaugural "Bon Voyage Senior Send-off" this Saturday, June 7, 2008 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Moshulu restaurant (401 S. Columbus Boulevard).
In 1895, Drexel's first President, James MacAlister, would often cancel classes and allow Drexel students to go to Cramps Shipyard along the Delaware River to watch the war ships set sail. In honor of this long lost tradition, the Drexel Traditions Program is starting a new one. The Traditions Program invites all undergraduate seniors to celebrate their accomplishment at the first annual "Bon Voyage" event. Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate with friends, and to say goodbye to Drexel as we say "Bon Voyage."
The event is free for undergraduate seniors, and one guest is allowed to attend for $5, payable at the door.
Seniors and their guests must register to attend this event. Register at http://www.drexel.edu/bonvoyage.
