Baiada Center to Present Workshop: "The Skilled Negotiator"
The Laurence A. Baiada Center for Entrepreneurship in Technology will present "The Skilled Negotiator" as part of its Entrepreneurial Skills Workshops series on Thursday, February 7, 2008, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The session will begin with 30 minutes of networking and refreshments at 6 p.m. with instruction beginning promptly at 6:30 p.m. Gene Godick, co-owner and CEO of Tafford Uniforms and Jeffrey Stello, founder and managing partner of Charlestown Capital Partners LLC will lead the session in the Baiada Center, located on the ground floor of the Academic Building (3225 Arch Street).
Entrepreneurs must become skilled at the art of negotiation to land the best contracts with clients, vendors and investors and gain competitive advantage. Experienced negotiators understand the need to strike a win-win deal by successfully fulfilling the other side's needs without ever losing sight of their own goals. This workshop will provide an opportunity to learn from two accomplished entrepreneurs and develop a greater understanding of the valuable techniques necessary to negotiate for success.

The Creating Excellent Organizations (CEO) program will offer a workshop, "Make a Name for Yourself, Part II," today, February 6, 2008, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in room 2020, MacAlister Hall (33rd and Chestnut Streets).
