Services for People with Disabilities

All requests for reasonable accommodations due to a disability need to be made directly to the Office of Disability Services (ODS), to the attention of Michelle Peters, at (215) 895-1401 (voice), (215) 895-2299 (TTY), (215) 895-1402 (fax) or michelle.m.peters@drexel.edu.

Parking: Disabled parking is available at each parking location (except Lot P) to vehicles displaying a disabled parking placard. It is recommended that the elderly or people with disabilities disembark at 34th and Lancaster and allow another driver to continue to the garage.

Seating: A disabled seating section is available to those who have a disability, on a firstcome, first-served basis. Each person with a disability may have one non-disabled person sit with him or her in the disabled seating section, to allow for as many people with disabilities to participate in the event as possible.

Additional Accommodations: May include interpreters, captionists, accessible pathways to the event, alternative formats for the commencement program and other materials, as well as other accommodations unique to an individual who has a disability. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case. Requests made at least 72 hours in advance of the event will be given priority.
