UNIV 101 is a mandatory course designed to maximize the student’s potential to succeed in the classroom and to manage the challenges presented in college and professional life. Although each college/school determines most of the course content, there are several desirable core elements that will enable the University to achieve the learning outcomes for UNIV 101. Additionally, the Undergraduate Student Government Association (UGSA), in consultation with the Office of the Provost, has suggested at least two new items for consideration in UNIV101. These two new items, Drexel History and Student Involvement, are included with the list of core elements, along with possible teaching resources for those instructors who wish to use them:
