Transfer Instant Decision Days

Submitting a college application doesn't have to mean weeks of waiting for a decision. Prospective transfer students can make an appointment to meet with an admissions counselor and receive an admission decision that day.

Who is Eligible

Transfer Instant Decision Appointments are available for applicants interested in beginning classes at Drexel in the following terms:

  • Fall 2015 (September 2015)

These appointments are open to full-time transfer students only interested in all programs except:

  • All Westphal College of Media Arts and Design majors
  • Custom-Designed Major
  • Invasive Cardiovascular Technology
  • Nursing Accelerated Career Entry (ACE)
  • Radiologic Technology

Application Process and Fee Waiver

If you complete an application during a Transfer Instant Decision Day, the application fee will be waived. You can apply on the day of your appointment using Drexel’s full-time transfer paper application or the Common Application.

Please note that you must bring the appropriate materials listed below in order to receive a decision during the appointment.

What to Bring

If you have completed fewer than 24 college credits and have graduated from high school no more than two years ago, bring:

  • Official high school transcript
  • SAT or ACT score results
  • Official college transcripts from all institutions attended

If you have completed 24 or more college credits, bring:

  • Official college transcripts from all institutions attended

In order for you to meet with an admissions counselor and receive a decision, please note the following:

  • You must bring all official transcripts and test scores (including military transcripts if applicable). These must be official documents provided in a sealed envelope from each college or university (or high school, if applicable per above).
  • The required essay must be submitted prior to your appointment.
  • Letters of recommendation are welcome, though not required.

The University reserves the right to request additional information to aid in the proper review of your file; in such cases your instant decision may be delayed.
