Cal Grant Program
Drexel University Sacramento will be applying for eligibility to participate in the Cal Grant program and looks forward to receiving a positive response sometime in November 2013. In the interim, if you are a Cal Grant-eligible student, Drexel University Sacramento commits to replacing your Cal Grant funds with a Drexel grant until Drexel is granted eligibility for the program, which is retroactive for the entire 2013–2014 academic year. This will not preclude you from being awarded any other Drexel gift aid for which you might be eligible. This will enable you to begin your studies in September 2013 without worrying about this aspect of financial planning for your education.
Important Note
If you wish to continue your Cal Grant eligibility or if you are applying for the first time, please note that the deadline for application to the California Student Aid Commission is March 2, 2013 for the 2013–2014 academic year. For more information, please visit the CSAC website.
Even if you intend to attend Drexel in September 2013, please list the name of your current institution on the application. It can be changed later to Drexel University.
