The Drexel Green Initiative is led by the Sustainability Task Force, made up of students, faculty, and staff. The Task Force steers the university-wide committees, which focus on academics, research, building design, operations, student life, community, and communications.
SUSTAINABILITY TASK FORCE The Sustainability Task Force at Drexel University was created in 2008 under the leadership of the Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff, Carl “Tobey” Oxholm III, in the Office of the President. The Sustainability Task Force is made up of students, faculty, and staff at Drexel University. The Task Force meets regularly with the Sustainability Council of Administrors & Staff and university-wide committee representatives to review progress on their sustainable/environmental initiatives.
