Academics & Research

Education is one of the core principles of Drexel Green, and the goal of sustainability is woven into the fabric of academic life at the University. Drexel provides many formal and informal learning opportunities on climate disruption and sustainability. In addition to offering specific degree programs, concentrations, and research programs, Drexel held the first "Sustainability Across the Curriculum" workshop in December 2010 to engage faculty across the University in discussions about incorporating sustainability concepts into existing courses.

Drexel’s affiliation with the Academy of Natural Sciences broadens the possibilities for green learning even further by providing student, faculty, staff, and administration with access to the Center for Environmental Policy, which holds public programs such as the Urban Sustainability Forum and Town Square: Citizens for Science.
