Study Abroad 101 Info Sessions

Study Abroad 101 sessions are for students who have not yet selected a program or begun an application and are looking for preliminary information about study abroad opportunities.

Tuesdays from 1:30-2pm

Fridays from 3-3:30pm

Please note, the 101 session on Friday, Feb 6th is cancelled.

Winter Term Walk-In Hours

Walk-In Hours are for students who have selected a study abroad program and are working on a study abroad application. Priority will be given to students applying for Fall 2015 and Summer 2015 programs.

Study Abroad Coffee Hour

Thinking about studying abroad but not sure it’s for you? Come to the Study Abroad Coffee Hour to meet students that just came back from abroad. Ask them questions, hear their stories and get to know what it’s really like living and studying abroad, all while enjoying coffee and pastries!

Drexel in London for Chinese Students

This info session is especially for Chinese students at Drexel who are interested in participating in the Drexel in London program. Learn about the program from the perspective of recent program alumnus.

Delaware Valley Re-Entry Conference

The Delaware Valley Re-Entry Conference is for recently returned study abroad students who wish to meet other students with similar experiences and gain practical information about how to incorporate your international experience into your future. This conference includes information on how to market your international experience on your resume and in interviews, how to go back abroad to study, teach, work, or volunteer, how to connect with international opportunities in Philadelphia, and more.

Registration is $10 and includes lunch.

The Drexel Study Abroad Office will cover the registration fee for the first 20 Drexel students who register. Interested students MUST register themselves online and bring or mail a $10 deposit to the Drexel Study Abroad Office by Tuesday, February 3rd to be eligible. Students will be reimbursed after participation in the conference.
