 The Inaugural Drexel President's Award Ceremony was held at Philadelphia's Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, March 22nd. Monica Malpass, of Channel 6 Action News, and Renee Amoore, one of Drexel University's Board Members, joined Dr. Papadakis and over 650 Drexel University employees to celebrate the success of the StudentsFirst initiative and recognize our outstanding employees.
Guests were treated to gourmet food, tours of the Kimmel Center , a laser light show and a performance by the Drexel University Concert Choir.
From the pool of 48 Drexel Salute Award Winners, who were also recognized at this event, 6 award winners were chosen. Congratulations to our President's Award winners - Kyle Kephart, Maggi Miller, and Dean Aberra. In addition, congratulations to our Leadership Award winners - Nichelle Gladden, Lisa Williams, and Lynne Hickle.
