The first two cohorts of Six Sigma Green Belt certification began in February. This program gives participants an opportunity to master problem-solving techniques using Six Sigma tools. Participants learn and apply a sophisticated data-driven methodology toward processes within our organization. Work is just beginning on projects such as:

Determine causes of incorrect major selection by students and reduce this problem in the areas where it most often occurs. Correct major selection will lead to greater student satisfaction, high retention and improved college and university reputation.

-
Resident Assistant, Commuter Assistant and Orientation Leader Remission
Improve current methods used in processing room and meal plan charges and remission which often produce inaccurate bills for these students. This project will produce a positive impact on student retention of a specific group of students whose morale has a strong influence on many other students in the Drexel community. This study may lead to larger process improvement opportunities benefiting the student body as a whole.
