The Drexel University safezone program strives to reduce homophobia
and heterosexism at Drexel University . Through education, advocacy,
and awareness, safezone participants promote acceptance of individual
differences and ideas in a safe, open, and inclusive climate for
all members of the University community.
Student Life, with support from the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)
Grant, is pleased to announce the Safezone Program at Drexel University.
This initiative is designed to educate interested staff, faculty,
and students about LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning)
issues and to educate about creating safe spaces on our campuses.
Student Life is sponsoring the second Safezone Program Training
