Housing and Hotels

All new students are required to stay overnight on campus during Orientation. This is a great way to experience campus life and meet other new students. Families are welcome to stay overnight on campus as well. However, we have collaborated with several hotels in the area to provide great rates for family members.

On Campus Housing Accommodations

The front desk of every residence hall is staffed 24-hours a day with controlled access to the building. Every residential room/suite has a self-regulating air conditioning and heating unit. Wireless internet is available free of charge.   Housing Contract

LINENS (pillow, pillowcase, flat sheets, blanket, washcloths, and towels) are provided for you. However, many Orientation participants choose to bring pillows, blankets, and towels of their own.

LUGGAGE STORAGE is available in Myers Hall (building 21) on Day 2 of your scheduled Orientation session.

Off-Campus Hotel Accommodations

For those family members who prefer to stay in one of Philadelphia's excellent hotels during Orientation, we have collaborated with several Drexel preferred hotels to provide great rates for Orientation participants. Staying off campus allows families to become familiar with the city in which their student will be living and studying. All hotels are conveniently located close to public transportation, excellent restaurants, and popular tourist destinations.

Please make your reservations immediately after registering for your specific Orientation session. All rates are based upon availability and do not include tax or gratuity. A limited number of rooms are available and usually fill up quickly during the summer months.
