Commuter and Resident Assistants

Creating community on campus are what Commuter and Resident Assistants do best. Resident Assistants (RA) work with their students on a daily basis to create educational and entertaining programming and activities for resident students to participate in and help transition new students to campus life.

Just a RA helps resident students transition to college life, a Commuter Assistant (CA) does the same for students who commute. The CAs serve as a mentor and resource for first year students as they adjust to college life. Throughout the year round, CA's will meet regularly with, maintain e-mail contact with, and call new commuter students. In addition, CA's will host many special events and programs to help commuter students to become involved and meet other members of the Drexel community.
