   Mission/Description: Dandiya hopes to revive South Asian cultural awareness through a combination of traditional and modern Gujarati folk dance styles. Unlike other dance groups, Dandiya will not focus on a single style of Gujarati folk dance, but will incorporate many different sectors of dance including Garba, Raas, and original Folk Dance. Dandiya plans to raise attention towards South Asian culture with plans to participate in various cultural events and competitions across the University, surrounding community, and the nation.
