10 Things to Know About Your Immigration Status

1. Read and respond to all of the emails from ISSS!


2. Maintain full-time course load, which is 12 credits for Undergraduate and  9 credits for Graduate


3. Obtain prior authorization from ISSS before beginning any work!


4. Be sure to stop by ISSS to obtain a travel signature before traveling outside of the U.S.


5. Before you take a vacation, leave of absence, or withdrawal be sure to let ISSS know


6. Don’t worry if your visa expires you can remain in the U.S. as long as your I-20/DS-2019 is valid


7. Stay on top of your finances and be sure to review your tuition bill carefully


8. Make sure you do not have any holds on your account so that will prevent you from registering from classes and using Drexel resources


9. Update ISSS of any changes that are made, such as address or major, within 10 days


10. Stop by and say hello to ISSS at least once a year
