The Family Association Advisory Council is an avenue for family members to get really involved in the work of the association. The Council serves as an avenue of communication and information for parents/guardians of students and prospective students. The Advisory Council plans and participates in programs that encourage family involvement, most notably Family Weekend, Lil’ Sibs Weekend, and New Student Orientation. The Council also functions as a sounding board between the Office of the Dean of Students and the parents/guardians.
The Council will work directly with the Dean of Students in promoting new programs or proposed new ventures. Finally, the Council initiates new programs for the benefit of parents/guardians, students and the Drexel University community.
