Dr. Michele Reich joined the staff at Drexel University’s Counseling Center in October 2008. At the center, Michele currently does individual therapy and clinical supervision with interns and staff. She earned her Doctorate of Clinical Psychology in 2007 from Marywood University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with honors in Criminal Justice from Penn State University in 2000.
Michele’s main area of interest is women’s issues, in particular eating disorders. She has trained and done post-doc residency at the Renfrew Center, residential, in Philadelphia. Her work experience also includes working with children, adolescents, and adults in inpatient and outpatient settings, including working with female juvenile offenders in a maximum security placement. . Michele has also taught a variety of psychology and criminology undergraduate classes on the university level. Her clinical orientation is an integration of humanism, interpersonal concepts, and cognitive behavioral techniques.
