Insurance

• The student is responsible for understanding how his/her insurance works.
• Please note that HMO's require pre-approval from a primary care provider in order for medical costs to be reimbursed.
• If the Drexel Student Accident and Sickness Plan has been purchased, the student is responsible for initiating claims for covered expenses.
  • Claim forms are available at the Student Health Center, the Office of Counseling and Health, and can be downloaded by clicking here.
• The student will be expected to pay any required deductible in full before insurance will pay for any covered expenses incurred.
