New Student Orientation 2008
Drexel University > Student Life > New Student Orientation > Prepare Now
Prepare Now

Overview
During the packed program, you will meet other transfer students, learn about University resources, and meet with your college/school staff. You will also learn more about the responsibilities of being a Drexel University student - it is important that you review the following steps, as their completion is critical to a successful orientation experience and smooth transition to Drexel.

1) What to Bring

We encourage you to pack lightly. Comfortable shoes and clothing are a must as there may be a nice amount of walking around campus during orientation. It's also a good idea to bring a light jacket for indoor activities.

  • Photo identification (passport, driver's license or state ID) to get your student ID
  • Financial aid material required for verification (if applicable)
  • Advanced Placement scores/verification (if applicable)
  • Proof of Immunizations and Health Insurance (details)
  • Transcripts with college courses (if applicable)

2) Explore Blue Line!

We've pulled together some of the most critical information for students and created a single location to find virtually everything at Drexel online.

Jump on the Blue Line!

Blue Line includes:

  • Exciting things to do in Philadelphia, Philly favorites, and more on getting around the City of Brotherly Love
  • College 101 blog - the latest on new web technologies and best practices, healthy living and life-skill tips/tricks
  • Important academic and university dates
  • Links to almost every website you will need to know about during your four or five years at Drexel
