Dr. Matthew Portadin is a Pennsylvania licensed psychologist who joined the Counseling Center staff in August of 2007. Dr. Portadin earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2006 from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology in Boston, MA, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to pursuing his Doctorate, Dr. Portadin was a high school English and Film teacher.
Dr. Portadin comes to the Counseling Center with six years of experience working with adolescents and adults, including two years at the counseling center at Tufts University. Prior to coming to Drexel, Dr. Portadin worked at a community mental health clinic in southern New Jersey, where his work included treating individuals with serious alcohol and drug issues. Dr. Portadin has a special interest in working with Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder, time management problems, and organizational issues.
