Dr. Lisa Spatafore has been practicing counseling and psychotherapy for 5 years. She joined the staff at Drexel University’s Office of Counseling and Health in 2007. Lisa has previous experience in college counseling, working at two other university counseling centers, where she provided individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and outreach and consultation with students, faculty, and other staff. Currently, she provides these services as well as supervision to trainees interning at Drexel’s Counseling Center. Her work experience also includes working with children, adolescents, and adults with serious and persistent mentally illness in inpatient and outpatient settings. Lisa’s therapeutic style is integrative with a focus on relational approaches to psychotherapy. She earned her Doctorate of Clinical Psychology in 2006 from Nova Southeastern University and received a Master’s of Science in Psychology in 2003 from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Elementary Education from Rider University in 2000.
