Drexel University > Student Life > Black History Month

Student Life and the Office of Multicultural Programs proudly celebrate Black History Month with “Impacting the Future NOW!” The month-long celebration includes: gospel and jazz performances, film screenings, dance exhibitions, and numerous events held by Drexel student organizations.

One of the highlight events each year is the student produced and directed Black History Month Fashion Show. Each year the fashion show attracts several hundred people from Drexel and the greater Philadelphia area to campus. The fashion show is a collaboration of fashion, dance, music, and drama. The show is unique in that it not only features the clothing of in-house and local designers/shops, but it also features dancing and other talents presented by Drexel students.

For more information on Black History Month or other multicultural events, please contact Joe Casey at 215.895.2662, joseph.casey@drexel.edu.
