Immunization Policy for International Students - Spring Start

Welcome to Drexel University.  Below you will find information in reference to our Immunization Policy.  If you have questions please visit us in Creese 201.

All Full Time Students must comply with the Immunization Policy of the University. To download an immunization form you may click here.

The deadline date for International Students is April 30, 2014, which gives students time to comply with the PPD requirement of the University. International Students must have their PPD test or Quantiferon blood test done and read in the United States (A on the Immunization Record). This year we will be offering the Quantiferon test which satisfies the PPD requirement. This new test is particularly important for those who have had the TB vaccination, also known as the BCG vaccination, or for those who are immunocompromised.

International students should not mail their Immunization Record into our offices as the PPD requirement cannot be completed until you arrive in the United States. Please bring your record into our office after your arrival and after this test is complete (there will be an opportunity to have this test done at the University Student Health Center upon your arrival).

If you have any questions please contact us at healthimmu@drexel.edu.
