The Student and Professional Staff of the Center for Academic Success
Message From the Interim Director
Welcome to the Center for Academic Success
I am excited about this academic year and am eager to spread the word about the wonderful services and programs that are planned. As many of you are aware, CAS has the pleasure to serve students as an academic support center. CAS is physically located on the Center City campus, New College Building, Suite 1602. However, that is just a 15 minute shuttle ride and I encourage all students to attend our programs and utilize the academic counseling services that are available.
Our office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. You will find when you visit CAS that we have a computer lab, printing services (.05 per page, cash only), library, and a wonderful study space for individual or group studying complete with white boards. Our staff is eager to assist you with any need you may have to help you meet your academic goals.
This year, we are expanding our academic counseling services to accommodate students on the University City campus. In addition, keep an eye out for emails and flyers telling you about the upcoming workshops that will be facilitated on the University City campus.
I encourage you to explore the CAS website and come see us at the office to meet our student and professional staff. Do you want to get involved? Do you want to expand your network in a friendly atmosphere that is designed to help you meet your goals? If you do, look at the Scholars of Academic Success (SAS) program information on the CAS website. The SAS program is a student led program that hosts speakers and events throughout the academic year.
I look forward to meeting you and I hope to see you at an upcoming PAC workshop or SAS event.
