July 7 - August 5, 2014
Welcome to Drexel!
- Summer Orientation is a 2-day, overnight, on-campus event for domestic freshman students.
- Your Orientation date is based on your college, school, or program.
- If more than one session is listed, you may choose from the sessions that are available to you.
Summer Orientation Dates
Please note that some programs (BS/MD, Freshman Frontiers, Dragon Summer) require students to attend specific sessions within the choices available.
Exemption Request Form
All domestic freshman students are required to attend Summer Orientation. However, a small number of spots have been reserved during Fall Orientation for domestic freshman students to attend. Students may apply for an exemption from Summer Orientation to attend Fall Orientation (September 16-17). Exemptions are rare and only approved for students with extreme financial constraints.
Students who are granted an exemption will be automatically registered for Fall Orientation and notified via email. Please allow at least 5 business days for exemption requests to be processed.
