How To Become A Sponsor

Drexel University is planning our Fourth Annual campus-wide Homecoming event. This year’s festivities are scheduled for the week of January 20-26, 2014 and will include spirited activities designed to highlight long-standing Drexel traditions as well as foster awareness of new campus initiatives. Highlights for the week will be posted soon!

The invited community consists of more than 20,000 students, over 130,000 alumni, and 5,300 faculty and staff. These students, faculty and staff live, study or work on three local campuses and 60,000-plus alumni live in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Homecoming Weekend provides a valuable opportunity to gain exposure and deliver your business message to a wide spectrum of consumers. Our print, electronic, and collateral materials, such as press releases, e-invites, and University Community advertisements, will reach the entire campus community and our electronic alumni newsletter, Drexel Details, is received by approximately 100,000 alumni, donors, and friends of the University.

The Homecoming Banner will be seen by up to 42,000 people in attendance at the 2011 – 2012 men’s and women’s basketball games and the foam Dragon claws will be given out to the estimated 2000+ spectators in attendance at the men’s and women’s homecoming games.

Your company’s proximity to campus or prior relationship with the University has prompted us to consider you when offering sponsorship opportunities. If you choose to sponsor this year’s event, along with reaching countless local potential customers, your company’s generosity and support will be recognized for enhancing connections between alumni, students, faculty, and staff.

Please know that your consideration of this request is greatly appreciated. Attached are the sponsorship level benefits and a commitment form [PDF]. I look forward to discussing this proposal with you in the near future. Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any questions regarding sponsorship opportunities.
