Dragons After Dark


Dragons After Dark is a program series designed to promote healthy activities for students during late night and weekend hours. The student-based committee that oversees this event planning is led by Campus Engagement professional staff and funded through SAFAC. In addition, student organizations can sponsor their own late night programs and receive special Dragons After Dark grant funding to supplement their costs. Programs and activities are open to the entire Drexel community and highlight ongoing collaboration between Student Affairs, Recreational Athletics, the Campus Activities Board and Late Night Series.

    A dramatic portrayal of the life and work of one of Britain’s most extraordinary unsung heroes, Alan Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch). The pioneer of modern-day computing, Turing is credited with cracking the German Enigma code and the film is a nail-biting race against time by Turing and his brilliant team at Britain’s top-secret code-breaking center, Bletchley Park, during the darkest days of World War II. Turing, whose contributions and genius significantly shortened the war, saving thousands of lives, was the eventual victim of an unenlightened British Establishment, but his work and legacy live on. Keira Knightley also stars as Turing's close friend and fellow code-breaker Joan Clarke.

In place of her friend Kate, Ana interviews 27-year-old Christian Grey, a successful and wealthy young entrepreneur. From this meeting on, Christian engages with Ana in a new type of relationship.
