Women in Service: A Panel Discusssion about Women in the Military

As part of Social Justice Week at Drexel, Former ROTC Professor of Military Science for Army ROTC, Col. Maura Gillen will lead a panel of diverse women as they reflect on their experiences in the military. Drexel welcomes back alumna, US Army Captain Antonia Greene-Edwards to participate and introduce some of her female mentees at her current post. These women will explore the relevant topic of "Military Culture: Women's Inclusion in the Brotherhood". Join us for a discussion military culture and how women in service have experienced this culture. Topics will include, the importance of women mentoring in the military, combat experience, living, learning, training and executing missions. Excerpts from the film, “Lioness” will also be shown by DU Employee and veteran Theresa Hasting.
