Student Organization Leadership Development

Student organizations provide wonderful opportunities to learn, develop, experience, and put into practice leadership skills.  Skills like time management, guiding and motivating others, financial stewardship, effective communication, listening, teamwork, and inclusion are all competencies that students learn from participating in and leading student organizations.  The Office of Campus Activities implements leadership sessions and workshops geared toward student organizations.  Stay tuned for upcoming programs.  Should you have suggested leadership session topics, e-mail them to

The Office of Student Leadership Development & Traditions leadership curriculum is branded as CEO LEAD (Creating Experiential Opportunities for Leadership Education and Development) and consists of the Leadership Certificate Program (LCP) and The Leadership Academy (TLA).  The Office also offers a slew of leadership resources, workshops, and tip sheetss.
