Students have a number of facilities for recreation and to support varsity athletics on Drexel’s campus. The John A. Daskalakis Athletic Center (known as the “DAC”), the home of Drexel Athletics, houses a swimming pool, squash courts, a golf simulator and a gymnasium that primarily services varsity sports. Connected to the DAC is the Drexel Recreation Center for personal health and wellness and intramural sports. The Recreation Center includes a multi-purpose gym, elevated jogging track, climbing wall, exercise studios and more. Adjacent to the DAC are Buckley Courts at the Armory, Buckley Recreational Field, Buckley Green, and Tennis Courts that make up an entire recreational athletics complex in the center of Drexel’s urban campus. A few blocks from the DAC is the Vidas Athletic Complex, home of outdoor varsity athletics.
