Registration Errors


 Resolving Registration Restrictions

When you have submitted your CRN's you will be given a Current Schedule along with Registration Errors (if you have any).

The Status section identifies the type(s) of Registration Restrictions for each CRN. Some can be resolved by you (select an open section of a course) while others will require that you see your academic advisor.

Specific registration restrictions can be one or more of the following. Click on each topic for more detailed information:

  1. Closed Section
  2. Permission Required
    (ie. Dept Approval, Honors Program Approval)
  3. Specific Restrictions
    1. College Restriction - (ie. College of Business Only)
    2. Major Restriction - (ie. Business Majors Only)
    3. Program Restriction - (ie. BSBA-COBA Only)
    4. Class Restriction - (ie. Seniors Only)
    5. Level Restriction - (ie. Graduates Only)
  4. Time Conflict
  5. Pre-requisite/Test Score Error - (Necessary requirements to take the current course)
  6. Co-requisite Errors - (ie. EXAM 080)
  7. Link Error - (ie. Multiple Course Parts)
  8. Max Hours Exceeded - (greater than 20 credit hours - undergraduates
    and greater than 12 credit hours - graduates)
